Ryoshi Sushi Ikeikemaru, a Japanese sushi restaurant located at basement one of Liang Court, serves excellently good and fresh sushi at very reasonable prices. The Japanese, I must agree, are very particular in the preparation and presentation of their cuisine. And Ryoshi Sushi Ikeikemaru is the best example of one. By seeing the slicing of the sashimi by the sushi chefs, you can simply know how many years of experience they have and the way they present the platters, I can say it is a unique piece of art which customers can appreciate not only by sight but also by taste and smell. These days we cannot get very good quality sushi at reasonable prices, most ‘authentic’ restaurants, such as Akashi, come with steep price tags. A sashimi platter for two cost around four hundred dollars. The cheap ones, well we can only say, they taste like Japanese food with no freshness.
