Why Can’t Winter be Easy?
How often do you see someone with a walker, wheelchair or cane outside in the winter? This is the most challenging time of the year for a person with mobility issues. As a person who has experienced this, I never know when I am going to encounter my next snowbank. I have to make a choice whether to continue or turn back. I can stay inside my house where there are few obstacles, or go out into the community where I may run into trouble.
