There are certain lifestyle factors that can contribute to your health. In this booklet I will explain; what these factors are, the health risks associated with them and the recommended guidelines required in order to maintain a healthy active lifestyle.
Stress is our body’s natural defence against threat or danger. Having stress causes our body’s to produce adrenaline (Epinephrine, the fight or flight chemical) this can increase our reaction time, speed and strength which would have been a vital tool to survive against natural predators thousands of years ago. In the modern age we live in, we don’t often face these threats anymore, however our body still produces epinephrine when we feel under pressure from demands, deadlines. This results in what we call stress.
