Environmental Conservation Assistant J/G ‘D/E/F/G’ (133 Posts) (a) Requirements

Holder of Certificate/ Diploma

At least 2 (two) years work experience

Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
Able to meet set targets with minimal supervision
(b) Responsibilities
 Preparation and implementation of work plans for all environmental Projects  Facilitation and promotion of citizen participation in the management of environment  Preparation and submission of environmental progress reports  Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor

 Bachelors degree in economics, finance or accounting and  Certified Public Accountant of Kenya

(b) Responsibilities
 Develop, implement and evaluate internal control framework  Examine and inspect activity records, accounting systems and procedures  Monitor and review procurement procedures
 Prepare work plans

Basic salary:
Ksh. 109,089 – Ksh. 144,928 p.m.

Director Revenue J/G ‘R’ (1 position)
(a) Requirements
 Bachelor Degree in Economics or any other relevant field from a recognized university  Five years relevant experience

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Officer finance the officer will;
 In charge of revenue collections
 Prepare periodic revenue reports and implement county policies and regulations on revenue  Oversee Revenue collection operations in the County.
 Implement county policies and regulations on revenue
 Design and implement effective and secure systems of collecting revenue

 Certificate in a Business related course
 Experienced Self-starter, excellent team player, effective communicator and must be able to work with minimal supervision.
(b) Responsibilities
 Perform cashier work for the County Revenue office
 Collecting and posting to appropriate accounts, Charges, fees and other monies paid to the County  Verifies, collects and posts county revenue to appropriate accounts for taxes, accounts receivable, permits, Bus Park fees, Market fees, Cess and parking fees, deposits from other county offices and agencies, and any other revenue due to the county.

 Sorts and posts payments received by mail
 Reconciles a cash drawer, prepares cashier reports and bank deposits.
