America has had a lot of presidents throughout it history; moreover, Theodore Roosevelt was one of the most influential presidents. America was in a time where the federal government had a hands off approach to supporting labor. In serious cases the military was use to bust up strikes. America was becoming intertwined with other countries and this left the door open for Roosevelt to set up Americas foreign policy.
