1.0 INTRODUCTION
Grandeur of civilization lies in the state administration itself. This is due to the better the administration, the greater the value of that civilization. As we refresh back in time during Mesopotamia Civilization, the greatness of its government during that day was depends on the ‘city-state’ or ‘acropolis’ concept in which the city had began to develop and form a country. The effective management and supervision of such government had lead to the formation of one wonders of the world, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon during Nebuchadnezzar’s reign. However, to form such great government, various aspects are touched including legislative, executive and judiciary body. Besides, to achieve a political stability, aspects of election and political parties are emphasised in such state. Since there are vary of political systems in each state, therefore comparison between two different countries is the best alternative to define similarities and differences, merits and demerits of each system. For this case study, United States is chosen to be compared with Malaysia in terms of politics and government. At a glance, Malaysia practices Constitutional Monarchy and Parliamentary Democracy System while in United States, Presidential System is implemented within the territory. In such condition, there are similarities found indirectly in terms of election process and so forth. For example, to form a government in Malaysia, the party must win 2/3 majority in a general election for every four years. It therefore follows the stage in democracy system same goes to United States. However, there is a distinction in term of power and authority. Since Malaysia practices Parliamentary system, so there is a diffusion of power in legislative and executive branches. While, all of government branches in United States are standing independently due to separation of power in its Presidential form. In terms of pol...
