Beth Daley’s article “Not as Green as They Claim to Be” out of the Boston Globe discusses the idea of greenwashing, and how companies aren’t correctly being eco-friendly. She uses examples of how a company honors a vehicle for being so eco-friendly and how auto magazines named it the green car of the year. However she contrasts these claims with statistics proving that this particular vehicle is no better than a non-hybrid vehicle. Daley also questions whether all of these green products are actually going to help the environment or not.
