Not Just Parents
Some people believe that parents are responsible for everything that happens to their children. An anonymous blogger on www.debate.org stated “Parents are the leaders of their child. They should watch over them and teach them how life works.” Although I do agree with this, I feel that children are influenced by everything in their environment.

To begin, I would like to mention the influence gangs have on children in the projects. I could argue that parents, most of the time, will try and do their best to raise their child properly and keep them away from the violence of gangs.
