After reading chapter 12 of our text I now have a different outlook on how the power of politics is generated. I also learned that there are specific power tactics used to translate power bases into specific action, which is what I would like to explain. There are 7 power bases discussed in this chapter and each one may have a different tactic used or needed in order to translate. In this segment I would like to discuss the most popular tactical options and the conditions that may make one more effective than the other.
